Hi and welcome to my Internet Marketing Blog. My name is Johnny Thompson and for the past 15 years I have been building websites, coaching students and colleagues, consulting with clients on the latest S.E.O. strategies and systems. Ive been buying and reviewing just about every Internet marketing E-book, program and video on the market, going to seminars and SEO and Internet marketing trade shows. I have spent thousands of dollars and thousands of hours honing my skills.
With this blog I hope to share with you the Search Engine Optimization information that really works, the Internet Marketing systems that will REALLY make you money online, if you are willing to do some work. One thing I have learned over the years, is there really are no get rich schemes that work. It all boils down to solid marketing skills and working smarter rather than harder.
Over the past 10 years I have worked with many celebrities, singers, talent booking agents, CEO’s of major Corporations, Vitamin Companies, and many diverse clients. I have had companies who have reached over 2 million in sales as direct efforts of our online marketing campaigns. I also have consistent Page #1 Google rankings for very competitive search terms.
I have been through the ups and downs of this business for the past 15 years. There is truly a lot of garbage on the market, lots of “so called GURUS’ selling their crappy software or gimmick that will only take your money leaving you mad and broke. I hope that if you will spend some time learning from me that you get a firm understanding of Internet marketing and what truly works.
Internet Marketing Rule #1
IF I had a single hard fast rule #1 it would be “DONT TRY TO REINVENT THE WHEEL”
For way too long I had ignored the advice of colleagues, try to do things MY WAY and failed. When some of my students started making over 6 figures a year based on what I had taught them, I had to start following my own advice and stop trying to do things differently. I tend to be hard headed and stubborn at times, so on many occasions the students became the teachers.
An Example would be one of my students who had a hugely successful niche product line. When I first started working with him he was making a couple hundred dollars a month. Now he averages averages 15,000 per month! All because he stuck to what works, and didn’t deviate from the path.
